why is there no civil department in the category option ?
Can any one suggest me the name of an institute where i can get industry exposure and train myself with skills required with the IT industry and learn useful languages like java,J2EE, etc. How good is NIIT???

I have qualified GATE-2012 & have scored 434 in EC paper and secured All India Rank: 7981, i belongs to General/ Unreserved Category.
My question is: Can i expect a seat in WBUT in house M.Tech programs ? What is procedure WBUT follow for admitting applicants as they are organizing a PGET entrance parallel to GATE, Can i expect good M.Tech college with this rank ?
I am doing B.Tech in ECE.
