Why we use getch() in c or c++ programming?

if you don't use getch() then then program will not be closed i will be continued...so we have to add that to close a program

The above answer is not correct.rnThe getch() function holds the output on the screen till the user chooses to close it. Otherwise, the output clears out before it is even visible to the naked eye.
