REQUEST:i m not understanding that how many subjects,papers r there in 1st semester?what is the marking in theory and practicles?is there r lots of books,so how can i get best of them?i m new,so i can't understand.i also wants to know about board exams ?what is internal exams?how to prepare for a subject?

Please go through Study Material section for ECE 1st Seme here - http://www.mywbut.com/department.php?mode=SM&deptid=3&semid=1 Here you will find Papers for 1st Semester. Subject Code with [P] indicates practical papers and all other are theory papers - only 5. There will be two exams for Theory Papers - Internal and Semester. Internal exams (of 30 papers) will be set by your college. Semester exams (of 70 papers) will be set by WBUT. Just let your classes begin and you will have idea of what to study and how.
