I am a student at asansol engg college, 1st year over...bt i am not satisfied there with the hostel n all n want to shift to kolkata...last year my rank was 4708 n i was getting colleges like heritage, techno, but mistakenly i went to asansol. can i change my college from 2nd year...also i have answered wbjee this year n expecting the same kind of rank....can that help me to shift to kolkata without a significant year loss?

on 2011-06-05 09:30:00Sorry, but there is no provision to change College in this manner. You can take admission again but this will lead you to one year loss. But keep in mind that no College is 100% perfect. Asansol Engg College is under Techno India Group and your campusing will be centralized with colleges like Techno India, Netaji, MSIT. You are right that studying in Kolkata has more advantages rather than Asansol, but in the end only B.Tech. degree and a job matters.
