Eligibility & Admission Procedure :
WBJEE :
AdmissionCandidates seeking admission in the IMPS College of Engineering & Technology (IMPSCET) are required to pass Higher Secondary (10+2) pure science with PCM 50% in Examination from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any equivalent examination from recognized Board or University and must qualify in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) admitted upto 80% conducted by the West Bengal joint entrance Examination Board for admission to engineering and get admitted through counseling by the Central Selection Committee.
Management Quota:
Students qualifying in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) or West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) through directly admitted under management quota upto 10% as decided by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.
AIEEE :
Students qualifying in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) may also be admitted upto 10% of total intake as decided by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.
JELET :
Diploma holders in Engineering / Technology qualifying in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) are eligible for admission into 3rd semester (2nd year) of B.Tech. courses through Central Counseling by CSC (E&T) upto a maximum limit of 10% of the approved intake in each stream.
Scholarship :NEW
Students having Ranks up to 10,000 in WBJEE are eligible for scholarships and student with score 80% and above in HS are also eligible for the same.
