Affiliation:

All the courses, of this institute, have approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and have affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).

Academic Features:

Consummate lecture sessions, interactive group discussions with individual project assignments form the major areas of the courses. Laboratory-based practical classes, team projects and presentations in related disciplines helps to enhance the knowledge in technical portion and the group discussion, which helps to enhance personal communication skills with leadership qualities. Also appraisal of students' performance on regular basis will be conducted. IMPS College of Engineering and Technology at Malda, extends its tasks to provide not only professional lessons but also helps to develop aptitude, skill and expertise.

Library:

The library aims to stock all the books and periodicals which the students are required to read while studying at the college.

Seminar Hall:

A well-furnished and well-equipped seminar room with a seating capacity of about 250 members.

Workshop :

The college has one workshop for the first year students. The workshop has all the necessary tools and equipment required to provide intensive practical training which is necessary in the field of technical education.

Hostel Accommodation

To provide proper accommodation boarding & lodging facilities, we possess a Boy’s Hostel and a separate Girl’s Hostel. The accommodation capacity of boys & girls are 400 & 125 respectively. The hostels have 65KVA generator for uninterrupted power supply. The hostels are well ventilated, spacious & furnished with the best of furniture & other co-related facilities. In this comfortable environment, student can concentrate in their studies.

Other facilities, in the hostels, are hygienic kitchens, safe drinking water, dining halls, guest rooms, separate faculty room etc. The hostel has an attached mess and a reading room. Hostel rooms have attached bath & toilet. Students shall keep to the hours set for the meals and studies. There shall be no disturbance during study hours. Noisy games, playing musical instruments etc are likely to disturb other students are strictly prohibited in the hostels.

Banking facilities (Indian Bank) are provided in the college campus. The campus also has the paid telephone facility for national & international calls.

In addition to this, hostels have a medical care centre that ensures regular check-ups to spread the tenets of good health, the process done by qualified physicians from a reputed hospital.
