What is the important of,written 8 page practical page for twise of every practical? it wast much time for me ,,please save me for made a good engineer,.and save my time for unneccessary work.

I was going through the TCS Eligibility Criteria for freshers (TCS-Careers). I have one question in mind. I am a 4th year student under WBUT. I received my offer letter from TCS I gave my 7th semester examinations in dec'13 and they have gone pretty bad. If I happen to get a backlog in my 7th sem, does my joining letter get cancelled? please reply .I need the info badly
