In the answer script provided by MAKAUT during the Semester Examinations, we have to write the "Registration number of 20__ to 20__". My year should be 2016-2017. But I think I've written 2017-2018. Will it cause any problem ? How can I correct it ?

I don't think it should cause any problem. But still, you should once talk to your college administrative or examination head.
