for private engg students good companies means TCS,CTS,WIPRO,INFOSYS. thats the best you can get via campussing and they require u to score 60% in 10+2+3. that would be good enough....u need to impress them in the interviews....bt if u dream big and want to join GOOGLE,MICROSOFT,ADOBE,AMAZON,TEXAS INSTRUMENTS then u must hav something above 9.0 points. Only then you might be considered for an interview in these companies via OFF-CAmpus.....another option to take a shot at these BIG Companies is gv your GATE xm and do a M.Tech from an IIT/NIT/JU....the last option if you are desperate abot joining GOOD companies would be to do an MBA from IIM/FMS/XLRI or any of the TOP 10 B-SCHOOLS (in INDIA) although that would mean you wud b changing your career course completely....your choice now! best of luck!!!
