I am persuing b.tech in instrumentation 4th year...I want to do m.tech ..bt people are saying that doing m.tech will be a waste because this stream will soon be closed within a few years...is it true?if yes what should I do now..plzz help me...

Going for M.tech is definitely a good option,you can do Phd after M.tech in case u are interested in research work. If you would like to work after B.Tech then you can face AMIE , it can provide u an upper hand to bag govt or private job.
