In books it is written that 'an ideal highway alignment should be short, easy, economical and safe' ? What does it mean physically ? What does it mean ? Short, easy, economical and safe in which sense ?

on 2012-09-12 09:30:00The safety of a horizontal curve is affected by the length of the curve thats why its must be short... & easy means it should not have to many curves specially in front of bridges,river etc.
