a synchronus generator connected with the bus bar. if we do not give energy to the prime mover then what will happen?

First thing I wanna tell you, there are some condition for connecting an alternator in infinite bus bar. Viz, the voltage drop, phase difference & phase sequence of both the alternator & bus bar must be same. If a standstill(not excited) alternator is connected to the bus bar then short circuit will occur.
