what are max mode and min mode of 8086 microprocessor?

max and min mode decides how the CPU handles the (local) bus .

if MN/MX(BAR) = +5V then 8086 operates in min mode.In this mode pin 26-31 have different opeartions.if MN/MX(BAR)=GND,then 8086 operates in max mode where again pin 26-31 have different opeartions to perform.
