Admission Procedure
The procedure of admission to Global Institute of Management & Technology is same as is applicable for all colleges under West Bengal University of Technology. The seats will be alloted in the centralized counselling organized by the Central Selection Committee. In case the seats remain vacant, the same will be informed to the university and the laid down procedure will be followed. The students with valid WBJEE and AIEEE rank are welcome to contact the institute
Admission Requirements for B. Tech.
The applicants will have to qualify in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) conducted by the Government of West Bengal and declared in the merit list published by the Central Selection Committee and also from AIEEE merit list.
Programme modalities
The duration of each undergraduate course of study leading to Bachelor of Technology degree is four years. Every academic year consists of two semester with number of working days specified by the West Bengal University of Technology. Each academic session is from July to June.
Current session (10-11) will commence from 3rd August'10.
The course ware will be presented through lectures, tutorials, sessionals, laboratory instructions, workshop practice etc. to equip students with a thorough knowledge base, which is necessary to make complex decisions in a highly challenging industrial scenario.
The medium of instruction and examination is English
