Greetings from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College (Autonomous)!

We are planning to start recruitment drives for 2020 Batch in August 2019. It is our great privilege to invite you to visit Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College (jgec.ac.in), which is one of the oldest Government Engineering College in West-Bengal for Campus Recruitment Drives. So we are requesting you to finalize an early date to pick up the best candidates from our campus.

We take this opportunity to introduce Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College(Autonomous), Jalpaiguri, an AICTE approved college established in 1961 with a mission to develop itself into an Institute of world-class reputation and advance knowledge and educate students in the areas of Technology to mold them for the industries.

We are running six undergraduate streams namely Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology and two postgraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering & Electrical Engineering.

We do have all necessary facilities like Auditorium (accommodating about 400 students), Seminar Hall, Computer labs (150 Computers), Conference Room, Interview rooms, LCD Projector for arranging Campus placement process. We at Jalpaiguri take immense care of the team which will visit the campus and will be happy to provide with food and lodging.

Our College is located just 50 km away from Bagdogra airport, Siliguri and 45 km from New Jalpaiguri Railway station.
