Dumkal Institute of Engineering & Technology embarked on its onward journey in the month of September 2001.Gradually the institute has evolved to be a leading center in the Technology Map of West Bengal for imparting quality education in Engineering & Technology curricula observing rules, regulations and guidelines of AICTE and West Bengal University of Technology.
Like other wings of the institute the Training & Placement Cell is an object of pride to the students of this college.Job orientation program through Mock Interview,Aptitude Test and Development,Group Discussion etc. are done on regular basis.
The Training & Placement Cell,with a view to fulfilling the dream of the students and guardians,started hectic bipolar activities centering both college end and city office end in Kolkata.The city office has been keeping track with placement scenerios and opportunities all over the country whereas the TPO at college end has been grooming the Final and the Pre-Final students of B-Tech - thereby holding regular Mock Interviews,Group Discussions and Seminars.The students are given adequate opportunity to develop their communicative skill in English in the Language Laboratory through Audio Visual Aids under the guidance of a well-equipped Faculty Member.
Three batches of students have passed out.Most of them have got lucrative jobs in different sectors in India and abroad.This College ensures Quality education that paves the way to success for obtaining job in today's competitive environment.This college does not misguide students regarding 100% job gurantee but the TPO cell works hard to give shape to the Student's dream and transforming it into a reality.
