INTRODUCTION
Institute of Science & Technology, Medinipur came into existence with the objective of imparting quality education to the young aspirants. The college is duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, Government of India and is recognized by Government of West Bengal. With the affiliation of West Bengal University of Technology, Institute of Science & Technology offers under graduate programs in various technical and management streams. It is an ISO 9001:2001 certified; autonomous institution managed by Gopsai Avinandan Sangha. The college boasts of providing ambience and infrastructure, which facilitates better learning.
The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi vide their approval letter No. 06/02/WB/ENGG/2005/01 dated 17/08/2006 for conducting courses on CSE, IT, ECE, AEIE, EEE & MCA.
The Institute is also affiliated by West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) vide their letter No. 548/Regis/Affil/2006 dated 21/08/2006. WBUT also conducts semester exams and award grade cards to the successful students.
