To meet the demand of technical experts in the fast expanding industrial arena, Mallabhum Human Resource Development Trust (M.H.R.D.T), a trust registered under the trust act, 1980, proposed to establish an engineering college in Baruipur, under the area of kolkata metropolitan development authority.

The Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology is in memory of late smt. Gargi mukherjee, who had immensely contributed to the activities of the trust.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create an unique technical educational platform, to help the meritorious students of the nearby area to blossom as “complete engineers” with technical capabilities based on a strong value system.
