Laboratories

NITMAS provides modern and sophisticated teaching facilities that are constantly upgraded. Each department at the Institute boasts of an array of highly advanced laboratories that are sufficiently equipped with the latest instruments and apparatus. The aim is to provide students a conceptual as well as practical understanding of the subject through hands-on training. NITMAS allocates considerable resources on a regular basis in enhancing all its engineering facilities to meet cutting edge, international standards.

The infrastructure also includes state-of-the-art computer laboratories with nearly 400 advanced computers that are sufficiently equipped with the latest tools and software.

The Language Laboratory at NITMAS is a super-specialty facility where students receive elaborate training for improving their communication skills. It is installed with highly sophisticated audio-visual apparatus like projectors, headphones and stereo surround sound to help students improve their accent, syntax and phonetics. The language sessions especially benefit students in improving communication skills, making them better equipped to face the multi-cultural corporate world with more confidence.

Library

The Institute Central Library houses a collection of nearly 41,832 national and international books, and 3,764 book titles apart from journals and other reference material. The facility is large with a comfortable and peaceful reading area and an electronic catalogue for quick information retrieval and services. In addition to the Central Library, each department possesses its own private library and collection of discipline-specific scholastic literature.

NITMAS also has a vast digital library on the lines of the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) module, from where students can access a wide range of online books and journals.

Hostel

The NITMAS campus is residential and offers an environment full of opportunities for personal growth. Currently, there are 6 well-planned hostels of which one is for girls.

Every hostel is supervised by the warden and a faculty-in-charge, who ensure that utmost care is taken to provide the best amenities to the students. Accommodation facilities are spacious and comfortable and cater to personal needs adequately. Every hostel building has a well-equipped kitchen that prepares healthy and wholesome fare and canteen facilities where students enjoy the get-togethers almost as much as enjoy the lively meals.

A vast range of cultural, athletic and social activities are available to NITMAS students. In addition to the other campus hubs of interaction, the common rooms in every hostel too are popular for everyday get-togethers. Every common room has various indoor gaming facilities like table tennis, carom and chess. In addition, each hostel has a basketball court and a volleyball court attached to it.

Sports

Health and fitness are integral to the all-round development of students that NITMAS aims at. There are two large playgrounds, ideal for a series of outdoor games like football and cricket. Each hostel has a basketball court and a volleyball court attached to it. The playgrounds also serve as the venue for the Annual Sports meet, an event that is well attended by students and staff members.

The swimming pool is a special attraction in the campus and well utilised by students during their free hours.

Seminar Halls

Equipped with digital technology and advanced communication facilities the Seminar Room at NITMAS hosts lectures and conferences. Renowned people from the industry and academia are invited to speak in these conventions so that students can interact with them and widen their knowledge horizons.

It is also the ideal venue for engineering and technology seminars, project presentations and placement procedures. As such, the Seminar Room is a means of knowledge-sharing, learning and collaboration with academia as well as industry.

Clubs

We have a 10000 sq. ft area to host events like socio-cultural and technical activities, exhibitions, sports competitions, quiz contests, etc.

TECH NICHE: The Technical Club has been formed since the inception of the Technology & Technical related courses. All through the year, the club conducts various activities like seminars, presentations and lectures pertaining to the Technology subject. Exhibitions on gadgetry, software engineering, robotics and gaming conditions are conducted by the Club. 

TURNING LENS: The photography club has been formed by budding photographers from all streams. The club participates in various photography competitions and also, on a regular basis hold displays and exhibitions of outstanding pieces of Photography throughout the year. Several photographs have been published in newspapers and magazines as well.

AJANTRIK: The Cultural Club comprises student from all streams. The club forms the Cultural Committee of the institute and organizes several sport, culture and welfare activities throughout the year. Teaching poor children of adjoining villages and conducting Blood Donation Camps are among the major charitable and welfare activities performed by the club.

ECO SPHERE (NATURE CLUB): The Nature Club is proposed to be started very soon, with a motive of planting more trees, maintaining ecological balance in the campus, conserving natural flora and fauna, holding awareness campaigns and programmes related to eco-friendliness, hygiene, cleanliness and nature conservation within the Campus.

E CELL: The Entrepreneurship/ business Club encourages students to come up with business ideas and proposals, which are discussed in open forums,in presence of professionals and experts.
