Overview
Training and Placement Cell is a core area in an Engineering College which compliments the efforts of the members of faculty by organizing value added programmes and providing placement opportunities to students The institute has a dynamic Training & Placement Cell which is operated by experienced officers from Kolkata and assisted by other experienced faculty members from the co-ordination wing at the college end at Suri. The T&P cell is continuously scouting for jobs opportunities for the students of BIET by acting as an interface between the institution and the industry

- Facility to use SIT ( Satellite Training) for self improvement.

- Industrial visit facility for the students conducted by the concerned department with the co-operational of the T&P cell.
- Institute provided scope for Vocational Training for the students at Summer / Winter / Puja Vacation at the companies such as CADD Centre, WBPDCL, DVC, Metro Raiulway, BSNL, Hindustan Motor, WPIL, Tata Bearing Ltd. , Durgapur Steel Plant, CESC Ltd., Siemens Ltd., Garden ReachShip Builders & Engineers Ltd., WBSEB, DPL, M.N.Dastur, Indian Airlines, C.M.E.R.I ., Ordinance Factory and many others.........
