Aliah University- a State University under the Dept. of Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education, Govt. of West Bengal – through the Aliah University Act (Act XXVII of 2007) passed by the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. University has good infrastructure with modern lab facility and provides students special training for placement through TPO section.
